Idag har vi haft besök av en lärare, Sophie, från England, närmare bestämt från Brighton. Sophie höll en lektion om kommunikation mellan människor. Spännande att få lyssna till brittisk engelska och från en lärare som inte ens kan prata svenska. Eleverna tycktes gilla vad hon gjorde och hängde med fantastiskt väl i uppgifterna.
Men, så är ni också otroligt bra på engelska!

Our last project for this semester is something we have decided together to do! We will try out numerous of different webb pages and apps, to evaluate them. When we have found webb pages and apps we like – we will put them in a list of our favourites. That will give us our own, unique list of our favourites to use and learn from.

Our last project for this semester in English class will be watching the Movie The Boy in Striped Pyjamas. We have already started the project by reading texts about the concentration camps during the war to get acquaintanted with words that might turn up in the movie and to have some preunderstandig to what happened during World War Two. Since you have, and will study World War Two in social studies, this is a follow up to those studies and also to learn some more.
We will also have discussions in small groups where you will get questions to talk about. You will also get the chance to talk about what we have seen and experienced in the movie.

Nu är det dags att färdigställa filmerna om Oves besök i er verklighet! Fredagslektionen 5/12, den långa, använder vi till att skriva klart det sista, sätta ihop texter och bilder i iMovie. På tisdagslektionen vecka 50 ska gruppdiskussion göras.
Fredag 12/12 firar vi Lucia på skolan. På svenskan kommer vi att fika och njuta av att se våra filmer tillsammans. Det kommer att bli så spännande att få se, höra och ta del av dem!
